May 7, 2022 · Just use qbittorrent. I am seeding 7561 torrents no problem and it is as fast as my upload and download speeds will allow. Utorrent is mostly safe though but if you use it just use "old reliable" utorrent 2.2.1. I changed to qbittorrent and noticed my download speeds where quicker. uTorrent is a horrible ad-bloated mess.
Mar 3, 2022 · qbittorent is better than uTorrent because it is more accurate in transferring files. I changed from utorrent to qbittorrent and the difference is amazing. utorrent was once great, but that was a long time ago. It became a cesspit of bad ads and other garbage, was temperamental about connections and NAS.
Jun 29, 2020 · I wouldn't trust them. Just stick with µtorrent 2.2.1 if it has to be µtorrent. Otherwise install Transmission, Deluge or qBittorrent which are open source and safe to use. Streaming the files while downloading should also be possible with those. 8. brickfrog2.
Apr 10, 2022 · I also use Transmission and qBittorrent. Use QBittorrent or Deluge. µTorrent is proprietary and has had some questionable decisions in the past. Use better alternatives like QBittorrent / Delgue , etc. uTorrent was found bundling their program with a crypto miner. They have ruined the trust of users.

During installation, check all the content of the wizard thoroughly before accepting any conditions by clicking on a button or before checking any checkbox to accept. Make sure to not accept when it is asking for your approval for Avast or Opera.
Did some internet digging and found out utorrent put it under hidden with 'error: can't open file'. I rebooted my computer with no luck. Tried to start, force start, and then force recheck. No dice. I removed and redownloaded the files. I tried a different magnet link. I tried downloading the file and adding manually.

Aug 24, 2019 · Try qbittorrent. The classic version. The only reason BitTorrent Inc. develops the Web version is to collect more user data through the browser to sell more targeted ads. I tried all clients in my Macbook Pro and I found utorrent (Classic) to be fastest , followed by Vuze.
