Cheviot Hill is located within Point Nepean National Park and is the park’s highest point. There is a viewing platform 500m west of Cheviot Hill, that overlooks Cheviot Beach, the site where former Australian Prime Minister Harold Holt disappeared while swimming without a trace in December 1967.
