Jan 18, 2020 · Surprisingly GREAT. Our child is sensitive, adopted, and we try and avoid movies with child protagonists who have experienced the loss of a parent or are orphans. It is usually done so badly. This is such a common premise for kid movies, it is a pet peeve. That said, if done right, it can be therapeutic.
