Thoovanathumbikal is one of the highest rated Malayalam Film at IMDb and to be honest i am surprised to see such high ratings. Well, my opinion differs and so does other people's therefore i won't call it overrated and invite geniune mocking.
Thoovanathumbikal (transl. Dragonflies in the Spraying Rain) is a 1987 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film written and directed by P. Padmarajan, based partly on his own novel Udakappola.
If it was a spirit for those people in that time, now Thoovanathumbikal turned to be a Wonder for this generation. Includes jayakrishnan, radha, Thangal and Intellectual Clara, every charectors are living in the heart of every malayalies till date. When two malayalies shares their view on RAIN, how can't they talk about Thoovanathumbikal.
