Locke is a 2013 psychological drama road film written and directed by Steven Knight. It stars Tom Hardy in the title role (and the only on-screen character) as he drives while conducting a series of phone conversations with characters voiced by Olivia Colman , Ruth Wilson , Andrew Scott , Ben Daniels , Tom Holland and Bill Milner .
With Tom Hardy, Olivia Colman, Ruth Wilson, Andrew Scott. Ivan Locke, a dedicated family man and successful construction manager, receives a phone call that sets in motion a series of events that threaten his carefully cultivated existence.

Not to say that the movie is not good. It acts as a sort of one man play starring Tom Hardy as Ivan Locke, a man who made a mistake in his past that threatens to unwrap his perfect life when he tries to do the right thing. The movie totally relies on the actor playing the role and Tom steps up to the challenge nicely.
Tom Hardy channels (and transcends) his inner Colin Farrell with this film which takes place inside of a BMW SUV in its entirety. A mature drama that pays homage to anyone battling internal demons, Locke is an 85 minute road trip in which the viewer acts as the passenger.
