Sep 17, 2022 · The image quality is decent-slightly good (even having an Intel IrisX Graphics, idk what's that...), you can watch videos in YT, Twitch or play some games (depending what game is it) without making your eyes bleed. TL; DR: Acer is, based in my experiencces, a mid PC/laptop brand. It gets the job done, but don't expect much more...
I can guarantee you that LG Ultragear is definitely one of the best bang for your buck monitor brands , from my experience LG monitors have a very good build quality , the best panels for under 300$ and not that much energy consumption, they also last a few years before they start having issues , hope that helped :D.
Jul 22, 2022 · Acer is known for being THE budget laptop brand. That means cheap builds. Personally I don't recommend it, haven't had a good experience with their products at all. That's not a question you can answer because Acer has many brands - Swift, Switch, Spin, Predator, etc.
They’re great value for the money, but otherwise their laptops aren’t the most attractive. I have an Acer passed down from my uncle, using it for around 12 years until obsolete. It does slow down with performance. 2. Reply.
Jan 3, 2024 · It can die tomorrow or after 10 years though I can say this, I have 2 acer laptops right now, one is swift 3 and other is nitro 5 and both working great. The one before those was aspire e5 571g and after 10 years it's still working nice expect battery health being 42% (quite impressive considering it's 10 years old).
Jun 27, 2021 · Surprisingly good thermals and the design itself is very sturdy with little to no flex. The Triton 500 SE will have essentially the same design with a bit of extra thickness, so I'd expect the same or better. The only issue with mine is some backlight bleed, but it's not too egregious, and I've mostly become normalized to it now.
Jun 16, 2022 · I think they would be a great corporate sponsor for the sub and we could do the brand a lot of good here if they wanted too. Just my 2 cents. Also if they worked with our community to develop a laptop we could probably give them a serious edge. Gigabyte's OK in my experience.
Aug 14, 2023 · my experience with their products is very good. so, yes. bruh. Acer is a good brand. They have monitor in all ranges. Their predator series is especially good. Their lower end monitor are value for money. This particular monitor is very good deal for the price its being sold at. If you are on a budget just get it.
Nov 7, 2010 · They all source their panels from the same manufacturers and they can be good, average or terrible. It really depends on the panel they chose for that particular model. I have three acer monitors in a row on my desk, 22, 23, and 22 inches, and they work great. Not a single dead pixel on any of them. Good constrast.
Dec 1, 2022 · Recommendation. I ordered 2022 Acer - Predator Helios 300 - 15.6" FHD 165Hz Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB DDR5 - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 - 512GB SSD on sale for $1k. At first reviews looked good, but I’ve been deep diving further into reviews and worried now. Biggest complaints are overheating.
