Pophams is a must-visit for pastry lovers in London Fields, although they boast two other locations across the city in Islington and the nearby Victoria Park.
The lido is located on the edge of London Fields - a large common area. It is a 1930's lido lovingly restored with conventional poolside cubicles but also modern inside changing rooms and showers and big lockers (£1 refundable). It cost about £5 to go in. The pool is heated (that's nice) and 50m long - but only 6 lanes wide.

London Fields Lido reopened in 2006 (originally 1932) after being closed for 18 long years and is situated in the north-west corner of London Fields Park. The Lido is 50 metres with lanes and heated. The Lido is generally opened all year around but I guess that’s weather depended currently opened until 4pm.

London Fields is a park in Hackney, London, although the name also refers to the immediate area in Hackney surrounding it and London Fields station. It is common land adjoining the Hackney Central area of the London Borough of Hackney. The park covers an area of 12.65 hectares (31.3 acres), [1] and includes sporting and recreation facilities.
London Fields covers quite an extensive area and is a great open-space resource for locals. We recently walked through the park, bought provisions at Broadway Market and then returned for a delightful picnic lunch under a shady tree.

Feb 24, 2023 · A London institution, London Fields Lido is one of London’s most popular pool hangouts and a lot easier to get to than the likes of Ruislip lido (AKA London Beach / London on Sea). The Lido is open daily (even in the winter months as it is heated) from 6.30am to 9pm.
