Jul 8, 2022 · Hi I'm installing minecraft server version. I installed forge directly but it showed "Downloading minecraft server failed, invalid checksum. Try again, or manually place server jar to skip download". So I downloaded server.jar manually and tried it again, then it said "Failed to download version manifest, can not find server jar URL.".

Dec 22, 2018 · Make sure you have the correct version of Forge installed (some packs are heavily dependent on one specific build of Forge) Make a launcher profile targeting this version of Forge. Set the launcher profile's GameDir property to the pack's instance folder (not the instances folder, the folder that has the pack's name on it).
