I have been making music for 2 years and recently started listening to some midwest emo songs and thought it would be cool if I tried creating this genre of music in a DAW, but, I am having a problem. From what I have read online, most midwest emo songs are played on FACGCE guitar tuning.

Fans of emo pop/pop punk wanted something different than top 40 pop music, but Top 40 was what they were used to so they still needed something with the same sensibilities.
