Facts. The appellant and the respondent are husband and wife. The appellant filed a petition under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for divorce. The Family Court ordered dissolution of the marriage and directed the appellant to pay Rs 5 lakhs as her livelihood allowance.
He also claimed to have requested Naveen Kohli to leave Shiva Nagi and reside with his children but Naveen Kohli had told him that he should accept Shiva Nagi as his (Naveen Kohli's) wife. Neelu Kohli according to him had never misbehaved with any member of the family.
