This would take Anfield up to about 54000 (or 60000 if they copied the stand at Old Trafford). A 20000 stand would look a bit imbalanced, but not nearly as bad as 26000 stand. We are The People.

  7. Oct 1, 2012 · There's a lot of stuff in the Anfield Stadium thread (not this one) which illustrates where we are at with things. True that new housing estate is a short-sighted disaster, and it's possible that a couple of those houses might have to go (I think it's literally 2) but the position of the care home is not of itself an impediment to a re-alignment of WBR.

Mar 11, 2015 · Staying at Anfield limited the scope of any rebuild to two stands as the club had bought and tinned up all the houses on the main stand side especially all bar a 2/3 houses on Lothair Road. Having ownership and financial issues between 2008 and 2010, coupled with the coalition government pulling further funding of a potential tram network has left the stadium situation in an awkward place.

  9. Aug 1, 2007 · You cant beat anfield under the lights. But poor from Real Madrid only taking up 2/3 over their 2,700 ticket allocation. Their neighbours Atletico sold out their full allocation 3 years ago despite covid19 just taking off in Madrid. 😳🥺

According to this premier league article, the capacity of Anfield is only 60,725. Probably explains why we don't really get close to the supposed 61,000 plus capacity. 🤔🧐.
