The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, with the task of conducting of Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2024 and Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2024.
The candidates will be selected through "Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET)". Based on the performance in BET, two categories of merit list will be prepared (Category-I and Category-II). Government of India norms for reservation will be followed for selection.

Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) BET, the DBT-JRF program was initiated in 2004 for providing fellowship to pursue research in frontier areas of Biotechnology and is presently coordinated by Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL), New Delhi. The BET merit list contains 2 categories.
Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2024 will be held on 20th April, 2024, from 09.00 AM – 12.00 PM (Three Hours/ 180 minutes duration) via Computer Based Mode across India. Only bonafide Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Medium of examination will be English only.
