Subramanian Raja Krishnamoorthi [1] (/ ˈ r ɑː dʒ ə ˌ k r ɪ ʃ n ə ˈ m ʊər θ i / RAH-jə KRISH-nə-MOORTH-ee; born July 19, 1973) is an American businessman, politician, and attorney serving as the U.S. representative for Illinois's 8th congressional district since 2017.
Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi was elected to Congress in 2016 and is now in his fourth term representing Illinois’ 8th District, which includes Chicago’s west and northwest suburbs as well as the 41st ward of the city.
