Hikers must hike from 2,860 meters to 3,233 meters within 800 meters of distance, like climbing 125 floors.
At 3952 meters, Yushan 玉山 is the highest peak in Taiwan and East Asia. I’ve climbed this beast three times in the past 20 years, and I can tell you that it’s by far my favorite trek in Taiwan!
