Kanoon Movie Review-Story Plot: Kailash Khanna (Rajendra Kumar) is an idealistic public prosecutor, who holds his mentor and prospective father-in-law, Judge Badri Prasad (Ashok Kumar) in high regard.
Unfortunately, Kanoon didnt work at the box office as Ajay was going through a low phase in 1994 with string of flops like Platform (1993), Dhanwaan (1993), Ek Hi Raasta (1993), Shaktiman (1993) and Dil Hai Betaab (1993). Kanoon's publicity was also quite low key for a film of its stature.

B.R. Chopra's Kanoon is a damn good movie of its time. It is a murder mystery cum courtroom drama and is generally full of suspense which makes for a very effective and interesting watch. The concept is very well brought out on screen.
