Jun 29, 2018 · More to the point, I’ve read that Stagecoach’s Stockport depot (the main Depot & Work Shop & offices across the road) could make way for retail & apartment spaces as part of the redevelopment of Stockport but read that developers will work with Stagecoach to find an alternative site to replace Stockport Depot within the Borough.

Stockport Exchange has also seen an NCP multi-storey car park, and a Holiday Inn Express delivered in the last five years, while it also counts Sainsburys and coffee shop Cafelito among its tenants.

Sep 29, 2009 · The Alty-Stockport is more than alive and if the trma-train did work, then some jointed up thinking could see one tram-train per hour travel from Rawtenstall to Chester via the Bury-Alty train line. One per hour from Rawtenstall to Piccadilly to Rose Hill And one per hour from Middlewich to Stockport.
Jul 19, 2005 · North Mnachester is very rejected, as the south gets most of the development however there have been huge improvements in and around oldham, it is actuly quite nice. but i must say that the population is not large enuf to support many big shops developments or buisnesses in the way that stockport is, due to the lower socio economic status of many occupants of that area. also transport links to oldham are atrocious!!!! oldham is north manc's stockport, but north manchester just dsnt have the ...

Jan 11, 2019 · What this says is that within that time TfGM will deliver options for a tram-train or metro solution for those routes idenitified (Marple via Bredbury, Marple via Hyde, Glossop, Rochdale-Bury, Stockport-Airport, Cornbrook-Airport via Timperley, CLC and Wigan via Atherton). This is not an exhaustive list of all rail based rapid transit to be purusued by 2040, nor is it a list of projects to be complete by 2025.
