Orangeburg, also known as The Garden City, is the principal city in and the county seat of Orangeburg County, South Carolina, United States. [5] The population of the city was 13,964 according to the 2020 census. [6] The city is located 37 miles southeast of Columbia, on the north fork of the Edisto River .

Since my family is from Orangeburg I've been coming to the Gardens all my life, but I am always amazed at the natural beauty and peace this site provides to visitors. There are safer places to stay in South Carolina than in Orangeburg, and aside from the few places to visit we mentioned above, I wouldn’t recommend stopping here.
