Free ferry in a gorgeous setting! The Valley View Ferry is considered to be the longest continuously operating business in Kentucky, having been established in 1780. The ferry is super cool, crossing the river in about three minutes, with a motor-driven paddle wheel and the boat itself guided by cables strung from four tall steel poles.
