Mårbacka is a manor house in Sunne Municipality in Värmland, Sweden. The first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, Selma Lagerlöf, was born and raised at Mårbacka. Today, the manor building and the surrounding area is kept as a memorial museum honoring her literary career.

Not only is Mårbacka the farm where Selma Lagerlöf was born and raised, but there is also a café and opportunities to get a guided tour with exciting stories from another time. Mårbacka was built in 1793 and was remodelled in 1921-1923. In 1801, the farm became the property of the Lagerlöf family.
Vi erbjuder guidningar, och aktiviteter. Mårbacka café och handel är öppna lördagar och söndagar i Maj och September mellan kl. 12 – 16:00. Entrén till Mårbackas område är maj – september: 60 kr för vuxna och betalas i biljettautomaten.
