Lance Leipold (/ ˈ l aɪ p oʊ l d / LY-pohld; born May 6, 1964) is an American football coach who is the head coach at the University of Kansas. He has coached at Kansas since 2021. Leipold previously served as the head coach at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater (UWW) and University at Buffalo.
