(Novel)Vampire vs. vampire, with humanity in the balance! The destinies of two people, along with the fate of the world and its inhabitants, are about to become intertwined when, on a rainy night in California, Osamu encounters a capsule that holds a mysterious green-haired being. He soon finds himself in the middle of a power struggle, as warring factions of vampire aliens descend to Earth. On one side are those who seek to use the recovered alien-Kimera-to repopulate their dying race. On the other side is Kimera's former mate, who wishes to kill him. Will humanity face total destruction, or will Kimera be killed, ultimately saving the world?

Jay and Osamu are two salesmen who, by chance, run across one of these beings known as Kimera. Part man and part woman, Kimera is being transported as a specimen in the name of science – but when Osamu and Kimera lock eyes, it’s love at first sight, and Osamu vows to help set her free. A space shuttle crashes on earth where there is a hostile entity within. Elsewhere two cereal salesmen, Osamu and Jay, are driving at night. Coming across an accident they are ordered to flee by the Air Force before they are beset by vampire like creatures.
Oct 30, 2019 · That being said though Kimera is referred to as male in the Japanese audio of the OVA, in the manga the OVA is based on the character of Kimera is referred to as a hermaphrodite and not being either gender, so giving the character a defined gender in the anime actually pissed off some of the manga fans.
