The 2024 GPI indicates Iceland, Ireland, Austria, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, Portugal, Denmark, Slovenia and Malaysia to be the most peaceful countries, while Yemen, Sudan, South Sudan, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Congo, Russia, Syria, Israel and Mali to be the least peaceful.

Community agencies, local organizations, religious leaders, politicians, the King of Bhutan and businesses, all can play essential roles in this process.
But one thing my country has done and continues to do is to hold onto its dream — a yearning — for a south Asia that is peaceful, cooperative, prosperous and happy.
