Twice a year the sunset lines up perfectly with the water channel at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, on the Autumnal (Fall) Equinox and the Vernal (Spring) Equinox. It was purposefully designed that way by visionaries Jonas Salk (developer of the polio vaccine) and architect Louis Kahn back in 1962.

But the last one I went to had complimentary sushi (from a restaurant that was owned by a gym member), a nutrition shop giving out samples, a protein cake pop vendor giving out samples, a jewelry vender, a bartender with complimentary drinks, a DJ (a live violinist another year 🔥), “lemonade” was there providing free food samples, a breakfast restaurant provided breakfast bowls…just to name a few.

Aug 4, 2021 · Yes, but not frequently. And it would be more likely to be written than spoken. Yes, we also use Autumn, just not often. Generally when Americans want an adjective to describe “pertaining to the season between summer and winter” we use the word “fall” instead of “autumnal”. Ok this seems to be a large misconception.
