    Marsala (Italian: [marˈsaːla], Maissala local Sicilian: [maɪsˈsaːla]; Latin: Lilybaeum) is an Italian comune located in the Province of Trapani in the westernmost part of Sicily. Marsala is the most populated town in its province and the fifth in Sicily.

    • Isola Favignana. Favignana is the largest of the Aegadian Islands that lie off of the coast of Marsala. The current population of Favignana is approximately 4,300 and these inhabitants are mainly based in the town of the same name on the north coast.
