The Training and Placement Cell facilitates the campus placement program at IGDTUW. The cell comprises of highly energetic and dynamic team of students and faculty members with Prof. Jasdeep Kaur Dhanoa and Dr. Subhash Singh as Training & Placement Officers.
IGDTUW highest package stood at INR 82 LPA and IGDTUW average package stood at INR 26.11 LPA. Around 51 students received an offer above 40 LPA. During the 2023 IGDTUW summer internship placement 2023, 349 students received internship offers.
One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam. One also needs to secure at least 60% marks (55% for OBC-NCL, 55% for Defence, 50% for SC/ST/PwD) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII. Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE (Main) through JAC Delhi Counselling.
The Placement Season for the batch 2021-22 started with the high note and more than 83 companies have visited the campus with total number of offers for IGDTUW girls of circuit branches, i.e CSE, IT, ECE as 563 for the academic year 2020-21.

The average package here is about 18 lakh per annum while my branch engineering physics offers the median package of 800000 per anum the highest package offered was 24 lacs per annum when the lowest package offered was 3 lakhs per annum and the median was 7.5 lakhs approx 40% of a students gets placed on the campus and 20% gets of campus placements.
