Oct 30, 2023 · e-Shram, an initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is a step towards building the Aadhaar Authenticated Comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW), working in the country.
Visit the e-Shram portal. Click on the ‘Already Registered’ tab and select the ‘Update/download UAN card’ option. Enter the UAN number, date of birth, captcha code and click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button. Enter the OTP received on the mobile number and click on the ‘Validate’ button.
The eSHRAM portal launched on 26th August 2021 by Shri Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Minister (L&E) in presence of Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon’ble Minister of States (L&E). eSHRAM portal has been developed for creating a National Database of Unorganized Workers, seeded with Aadhaar.

Aug 30, 2021 · The e-SHRAM portal covers unorganised workers and aims to implement social security schemes. The workers will be given a new e-SHRAM card which has a 12-digit UAN number. Registration on the portal is free of cost and beneficiaries will receive accidental insurance coverage through PMSBY.
