योजना में आधार के माध्यम से भुगतान प्रक्रिया (डीबीटी) अपनायी गयी है, क्योकि इस प्रक्रिया में भुगतान असफल होने की दर न्यूनतम है. स्वयं के आधार लिंक तथा डीबीटी सक्रिय बैंक खाते में भुगतान होने से पैसा सीधे बहनों के हाथ में जाएगा. बहने परिवार की आवश्यकतानुसार राशि का उपयोग करने हेतु स्वतंत्र होंगी.

The state government plans to gradually hike the amount to Rs 3,000 per month.
