If you’re a student, you can follow these steps to get free access to software through the Autodesk Education Plan on your personal computer. A student wanting to install products that a teacher has assigned to you. A student who hasn’t been assigned products and needs to obtain them yourself.

Which version should we be teaching to be in line with industry and also it has to be a version available as a student version: Maya 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 are currently available for educational use. (Not earlier versions.)
Students and educators can get free one-year educational access to Autodesk products and services, renewable as long as you still are eligible. If you are a student or educator, you can access free Maya software with an Autodesk Education plan (US Site).
