The purpose of Direct Benefits Transfer is to ensure that benefits go to individuals' bank accounts electronically, minimizing tiers involved in fund flow thereby reducing delay in payment, ensuring accurate targeting of the beneficiary and curbing pilferage and duplication.
Aaple Sarkar Maha DBT is a Maharashtra Govt. app that directly transfers benefits and subsidies from various social welfare schemes like E-Scholarships, Pensions, Disaster Relief, etc. to the beneficiary's bank account through DBT.
