After the establishment of the Osmania University in 1919, the school was renamed Osmania Medical College, after the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan. The institute offers MBBS degrees at the undergraduate level, MD/ MS and PG Diploma in various specialisations at the postgraduate level and DM and MCh at the doctorate Level.
