UGC’s Revised Procedure to File Online Anti-ragging Affidavit. Students can go through the steps mentioned below to file an anti-ragging affidavit. Step 1: Visit either of two websites: antiragging.in / amanmovement.org, and fill in the requisite details.
The application for admission, enrolment or registration must be accompanied by an Anti Ragging affidavit signed by a student in a prescribed format and another Anti Ragging Affidavit signed by a Parent/Guardian. (Both these Affidavits can be downloaded from the Web ) .
As per the direction of the University Grants Commission (UGC), it is mandatory for all the students to create the UGC Anti-ragging reference number and submit the generated Affidavit duly signed by both the student and the parent at the University during enrollment.
It has been made mandatory by the UGC and by the Hon’ble Supreme Court that each student is to provide an affidavit on a Non-Judicial Stamp paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by oath commissioner (in the notary) to the effect that he/she would not indulge in any ragging activities (Format 1).
As per UGC regulations, it is mandatory for every student and her/ his parents to submit an Anti-Ragging affidavit at the time of their first admission and thereafter each year at the time of annual registration.
