ICEGATE (Indian Customs EDI Gateway) is an e-commerce portal of the Indian Customs which offers services such as e-filing of Bills of Entry (Import Goods Declaration);Shipping Bills (Export Goods Declaration); and EDI between Customs and its Trade Partners for IGM, EGM, Customs Duty Payment and Drawback Disbursal through electronic messages.
The services provided under the same consist of viewing the IEC and its Denied Entity List (DEL) status, checking the status of IEC at Customs / ICEGATE. It also includes services to check the Shipping Bills received Custom File wise and IEC wise.
Check Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) shipping bill status with Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC). Users can check the status of their shipping bills by either providing their IEC number (Importer Exporter Code Number) or shipping bill number.

These shipping bills are either accepted or rejected by DGFT and all acknowledgements are sent to ICES locations for automatic updation of the status. Shipping bills which have been rejected are retransmitted to ICES locations through ICEGATE.
