May 1, 2022 · This study aims to present a quantitative analysis of open access (OA) journals in the field of medicine indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The bibliographic data for this study was extracted from DOAJ and inserted into an Excel sheet for analysis.
The journal is indexed with or included in the following: MEDLINE/Index Medicus, SCOPUS, EMBASE/ Excerpta Medica, Science Citation Index Expanded. Impact Factor® as reported in the 2023 Journal Citation Reports® (Clarivate Analytics 2024): 0.4; Scopus CiteScore 2023 (as per SJR 2024): 0.5
