UPSC ESE Mains Syllabus
The Mains Paper I and Prelims Paper-II have an identical syllabus. The distinction is that only objective questions have been asked in the preliminary test, whereas subjectivequestionsare made in the mains paper. The syllabus for UPSC ESE Prelims are as follows:
Nationality
The applicant must be an Indian national, a Nepalese person, a Bhutanese person, or a Tibetan refugee who entered India before January 1, 1962.
Age Limit
On January 1, 2022, the applicants must be at least 21 years of age and no older than 30 years of age. To be eligible, they would have to be born between January 2, 1992, and January 1, 2001.
Educational Qualification
# To appear for the test, a candidate must have a degree in engineering/ university. # An applicant who cleared the Graduate Membership Exam of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) # An overseas university, college, or institution awarded aspirant, with an engineering degree or diploma. # An applicant who has taken and completed an exam that qualifies him educationally for this exam but has not yet received news of the results may register for admission.
