Bharatiya vidya Bhavan, dedicated to the promotion of Education, Art and Culture, is a Charitable public trust founded by Dr. K. M. Munshi on 7th November 1938. Dr. Rajendra Prasad the first president of India laid the foundation stone of the Bhavan’s Delhi Kendra on 31st March 1952, inaugurated Delhi Kendra on 16th May 1957.
One of the Bhavan’s best premier global Institute imparting knowledge of Astrology is located in the heart of the City at Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi. Present Astrology Course was started in the premises of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in 1987, by Shri K. N. Rao, I.A.A.S. (Retd.) a legendary astrologer of modern times.
Bharatiya vidya bhavan is a bridge between science and spirituality. Bhavan’s ideal is : Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the world is one family. Bhavan’s motto is: Aa No Bhadra Kratvo Yantu Vishwatah- let noble thoughts come to us from every side.

Kulapati K. M. Munshi founded Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in 1938 with the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi. The Bhavan was established around the time when freedom was not in doubt; the question was how soon. With freedom round the corner, people were concerned about the New India that would emerge soon.
