Eknath (IAST: Eka-nātha, Marathi pronunciation: ) (1533–1599), was an Indian Hindu saint, philosopher and poet. He was a devotee of the Hindu deity Vitthal and is a major figure of the Warkari movement.

संत एकनाथ मंदिर, पैठण. जीवन. सर्वसाधारणपणे नाथ म्हणून ओळखले जाणारे संत एकनाथ (जन्म : पैठण, इ.स. १५३३; - इ.स. १५९९) हे महाराष्ट्तील वारकरी संप्रदायातले एक संत होते. त्यांचा जन्म इ.स. १५३३ मध्ये पैठण येथे झाला. संत भानुदास हे एकनाथांचे पणजोबा. ते सूर्याची उपासना करीत. श्री संत एकनाथांच्या वडिलांचे नाव सूर्यनारायण होते. आईचे नाव रुक्मिणी होते.

Eknath was a major saint of the Varakari Sampradaya founded by Dnanadeva. Born in 1533 at Paithan, Eknath lost his parents at an early age and was brought up by his grandfather. Eknath's great-grandfather was Shri Bhanudas (1448-1513), a major figure in the Vitthala sect at Pandharpur .
