The department was established in 2002 with 14 teaching faculty. The department now has a strength of 48 members with wide ranging experience and professional qualifications. It offers courses in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.
MREC has excellent laboratory facilities for carrying out teaching, research and consultancy activities in various disciplines of engineering , medical, dental sciences and mass communication. MREC has state of the art labs that allow the students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt in theory.
The TS EAMCET cutoff 2023 for MREC Hyderabad ranged from 22565-40939 rank for the general admission. Along with this, the institute also offers MTech and MBA program at the PG level. MREC Hyderabad accepts GATE/ TS PGECET scores and TS ICET for the MTech and MBA admissions respectively.
