Mar 16, 2024 · The expected IIT Ropar GATE cutoff 2024 for General category candidates is 715 - 720, SC is 445 - 450, ST is 325 - 330 and OBC NCL is 605 - 610. GATE is the sole criterion for non-IIT graduates to get M.Tech admission at IIT Ropar. Therefore, the candidates must note that qualifying GATE is mandatory for M.Tech admission at IIT Ropar.
Dec 30, 2023 · The final date to complete the IIT Ropar M.Tech admission form for 2024 is yet to be announced. Admission to IIT Ropar’s M.Tech program in 2024 will be based on the GATE score. Candidates scoring equal to or higher than the IIT Ropar M.Tech cutoff for 2024 will be considered for admission. A higher GATE score increases the chances of admission.
IIT Ropar MTech program is offered in 11 specializations and selection is based on GATE Score. IIT Ropar MTech seats are allocated on the basis of COAP counselling. The 2023 cutoff by marks for IIT Ropar MTech CSE remained 824 for the general category.

IIT Ropar Cutoff 2024 for B.Tech is based on the JEE Advanced scores followed by the JoSAA counselling. IIT Ropar CSE cutoff is 1158 – 2234 under Round 1. 1158 is the opening rank and 2234 is the closing rank for general neutral category students (R1).
