Brij was born on 6 October 1933 in Gujranwala, Punjab, British India [now Pakistan]. He was a director and producer, known for Victoria No. 203 (1972), Ustadon Ke Ustad (1963) and Yeh Raat Phir Na Aaygi (1966). He died on 21 October 1990 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.
