There are lots of ashrams, and temples inside the Swarg Ashram. This place is very popular among foreign tourists as well as among locals, because of its ethnic touch. Several religious activities, like chanting, meditation, aarti take place inside the Swarg Ashram premises.
The ashram runs two charitable schools in the premises, a Sanskrit Vidyalaya and a Bal Vidya Niketan. The students of the Sanskrit Vidyalaya are provided free boarding, lodging and meals by the Ashram. They are being groomed to become responsible citizens and future torchbearers of the Ashram and Hindu culture.

Located 200 meters from the Ram Jhula. Swargashram Rishikesh Trust Dharamshala offers two-bedded AC or non-AC rooms for families only. It provides food and parking facilities as well.
Swargaashram is situated on the east banks of holy river Ganga in the lap of the lush green Himalayas in Rishikesh. It is very near to Ram Jhula. The ashram was built in the memory of Swami Vishudhanand, the saint better known as Kali Kamli Wala (the saint with a black blanket).
