Jan 1, 2024 · Revised Minimum Wages for Shops & Establishments in Maharashtra January 2024. The Labour Commissioner’s Office has issued an official notification dated 05 February 2024, announcing an increase in Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for employees working under Shops and Establishments.
The new minimum wage rate of Maharashtra is effective from 1st January 2023 to 30th June 2023. While the minimum wages are defined zone-wise, and the zones are as follows: Zone 1 – Areas falling within the limits of ‘A’ and ‘B’ class Municipal Corporations. Zone 2 – Areas falling within the limits of all ‘C’ and ‘D’ class Municipal Corporations.
