Murder is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language erotic thriller film, directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Mukesh Bhatt. It is the first installment in the Murder film series. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Ashmit Patel and Mallika Sherawat and is set in Bangkok, Thailand.
The story follows Simran (Mallika Sherawat), a young woman married to Sudhir (Ashmit Patel) a workaholic. They live in Thailand where they settled 5 years ago. Sudhir was previously married to Simran's late elder sister, Sonia.
