Today, Trinity is a leading independent day school which offers a rich and balanced curriculum with fantastic facilities, placing great emphasis on providing students with the skills they need to think critically and independently. It accepts boys from 10-18 and welcomes girls for sixth form (ages 16-18).
It is a far cry from its traceable origins as a distinctive school in the 1850s, though it does of course owe its foundation and its being to Archbishop John Whitgift, whose will established education as one of the two elements of his foundation in Croydon.
