Feb 2, 2024 · However in the generated template file the define cell function doesnot contain any inputs/outputs. define_cell \ -delay delay_template1_3x3 \ -power power_template1_3x3 \ customCell. and I have only define_leakage commands and no define_ arc. I do not understand what is wrong in my truth table to have this result. Maybe you can help with this ?

May 18, 2021 · Based on the history of your other post, I am guessing your netlist is created from av_extracted view. Very likely, the instances' name for the leafcells does not have "x" prefix, when the netlist is created from an av_extracted view. if this is the case, you can try to add -element option in your define_leafcell commands.
It's clear, if I write for each class of cells, having the same inputs / outputs, a separate define_cell, then this issue does not occur. There is an example of generating automatically template in the page 48 to 50 of 'Virtuoso Liberate Reference Maual', Version 18.1, section 'TCL Command File'.
