Government of India, on 10th November, 2014 has launched “Jeevan Pramaan” an “Aadhaar based Digital Life Certificate” for pensioners.
Download Life certificate by generating OTP. Pensioner can sign in to view & download a pdf version of the Digital Life Certificate. The Pensioner can login by providing his Pramaan ID to generate a One Time Password and use the same to sign in to the system to download the certificate.
A successful authentication generates the Digital Life Certificate - External website that opens in a new window which gets stored in the Life Certificate Repository. The Pension Disbursing Agencies can now access the certificate online.
Pensioners are required to furnish a “Life Certificate” to these PDAs in November every year either by presenting themselves personally or by delivering a life certificate in the prescribed format.
Aadhaar based authentication of Life certificate can be submitted online through Jeevan Praman Portal by the pensioner which is being accepted as Life Certificate, in addition to existing ways of submitting the Life Certificate.
