Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III (11 November 1768 – 21 May 1829), was the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad, India from 1803 to 1829. He was born in Chowmahalla Palace in the Khilwath, the second son of Asaf Jah II and Tahniat un-nisa Begum.
Nawab Mir Akbar Ali Khan Siddiqi Bahadur, Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III was the third ruler of Hyderabad. The successor of Asaf Jah II and Tahniat un-Nisa Begum, he was born in the Chowmahalla Palace. Inspired by his ancestors' loyalty to the British, Sikander Jah went a step further and established a British cantonment in Hyderabad.

He brought about a turning point in the rule of the Asaf Jahi dynasty by shifting the State capital from Aurangabad to Hyderabad, in 1763.
