Betty Garde died December 25, 1989, at the age of 84 in a hospital in Sherman Oaks, California. No cause was given and there were no immediate survivors. [1] Her body was returned to her home state of Pennsylvania and interred at Westminster Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd .
