Kaaviya Thalaivan (transl. Epic Hero) is a 2014 Indian Tamil -language historical drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan and produced by S. Sashikanth and Varun Manian under their production companies YNOT Studios and Radiance Media Group.
Technically, the film is great. The cinematography was decent. The music is one of Periya Bhai's best works the past decade, with Yaarumilla and Sandi Kuthirai being the highlights. But all of these were used to tell a very personal story between a master and his two apprentices, and this aspect of the film was done really well.
