   • Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. We ventured on our own and took a taxi from the port of La Romana Dominican Republic. The driver was very nice and his vehicle was comfortable. One of the stops was the Altos de Chavon. The views are amazing!! Very interesting museum and you'll feel as if you are at an ancient ruin.
