In order to be able to complete a doctorate at ETH, a professor at ETH must be willing to supervise your dissertation. With few exceptions, doctorates are linked to a position at ETH or within the ETH-domain. The best way to apply for a doctoral position is to contact the professorship you are interested in directly.
